In a group with four others, we were tasked with crafting a fashion forecast for the year 2025. By researching current trends and how they affect the zeitgeist, we were asked to put together a 12-15 min. presentation on the direction womenswear is moving.

Process

- Researched the current “vibe of the times” to discover what our group believes will be the next trend in the fashion cycle.
- Narrowing down an overall idea for our project.
- Finding modern looks that include what we forecast fashion will do.
- Curating a board that encapsulates exactly the “vibe” we predicted.
- Utilize Adobe Photoshop & Adobe Illustrator to make all slides look unique and well-executed
- We started by finding hundreds of runway looks from the year 2024.
  - After, we narrowed them down to find consistencies to decide on our fabrics, key items, etc.
- Once we researched fabrics, we narrowed down our forecast to only a few.
- Once we had all looks, fabrics, and moodboards done, we narrowed down our forecast with few specific colors and key items.
- These were all picked both based on researching the zeitgeist & looking at the previous year.
